The Permit Coordinator at Lennar is responsible for overseeing the Starts Process at the division office.  This includes developing panels, collecting paperwork, submitting for approvals and permits, and entering data into several JD Edwards screens.  This position requires a high level of organization and ability to manage the critical tasks related to starting a home in Lennar’s system.

The Sr. Lead, Business Development, is responsible for supporting the VP, Business Development as part of the Lennar Connectivity Services (LCS) Team. This role will assist with reviewing of opportunities and ensuring growth of LCS, LenCom and related Lennar Connectivity businesses across the country. The primary responsibilities involve information gathering and analysis, project management and delivery of key strategic business development initiatives that support growth of LCS’s innovative services. The role has a unique opportunity to influence and manage the framework for decision making in key LCS solutions across all Lennar Divisions. This role is highly visible within the Company and will serve as a representative and ambassador for LCS programs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project management of key strategic business development initiatives

  • Serve as a liaison between joint venture partners, corporate teams, and division teams for planning and implementation activities

  • Effectively manage multiple workstreams simultaneously across various stages of program maturity and geographies, including site visits

  • Interact with and support various levels throughout the Company and manage projects and programs through indirect (matrix) relationships

  • Provide recommendations to improve processes and programs across the LCS team and the Company

  • Create materials and presentations needed to communicate implementation messages across various stakeholder groups

  • Build reporting and analyses for executive level tracking to report timely, relevant metrics and opportunity/risk drivers for initiatives

  • Ability to review and understand topographical maps and land plats to develop viable implementation plans

  • Deliver successful results to LCS business goals

  • Ad-hoc activities and support including document review, presentations, projects, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Project management, process improvement, data and analytics experience required

  • Excellent data and analytics skills, ability to quickly create and standardize analyses and executive level read-outs, dashboards, others as needed. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field (Masters preferred) or 15+ years of related job experience required

  • Experience in land development, construction management or civil engineering preferred

Physical Requirements:

This role is mainly a desk job that necessitates the ability to use computer equipment, communicate effectively, hear clearly, bend, stoop, extend, lift, and transport items weighing up to 25 lbs. Fine motor skills are crucial. The position also demands the capability to travel when required and adherence to job site protocols on active construction sites.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $114,881.00 - $147,338, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
