We are seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) – Legal Systems to lead the strategy, evolution, and delivery of enterprise Legal technology capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of Legal, Legal Operations, and Technology, owning the product vision and roadmap for systems that enable intake, matter management, contract lifecycle management (CLM), compliance, and reporting.
This is a strategic product leadership role focused on modernizing Legal platforms, improving workflow efficiency, strengthening governance, and delivering measurable business value in a complex, highly regulated enterprise environment.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own the end-to-end product vision and multi-year roadmap for Legal technology platforms.
- Translate Legal and Legal Operations priorities into well-defined epics, features, and user stories with measurable outcomes.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and IT to prioritize initiatives based on business impact, risk mitigation, regulatory requirements, and enterprise alignment.
- Drive automation, workflow optimization, data transparency, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve Legal team efficiency and decision-making.
- Establish KPIs and success metrics that demonstrate product value and continuous improvement.
Legal Technology Transformation
- Lead modernization initiatives across Legal systems, including intake, matter management, CLM, document management, outside counsel management, and compliance workflows.
- Evaluate and optimize platform capabilities to ensure scalability, maintainability, and strong governance.
- Drive integration strategy across Legal platforms and core enterprise systems (ERP, document management, data platforms).
- Partner with architects and engineering teams to design secure, future-state Legal system architectures.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security, confidentiality, and data governance standards.
Legal & Legal Operations Domain Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Legal leadership, supporting:
- Enterprise legal intake and demand management
- Matter and case management
- Contract lifecycle management
- Outside counsel performance and spend visibility
- Regulatory and compliance workflows
- Ensure systems account for Legal-specific complexities, including:
- Confidential and privileged data handling
- Regulatory and audit requirements
- Cross-functional approvals
- Enterprise-scale prioritization and reporting
Technical & Delivery Leadership
- Collaborate closely with architects, developers, platform engineers, data teams, and QA partners.
- Drive high-quality agile execution, including backlog management, release planning, dependency coordination, and risk mitigation.
- Balance configuration vs. customization decisions to protect long-term scalability.
- Promote product best practices, documentation standards, and sustainable operating models.
Stakeholder & Change Management
- Lead adoption strategies including training, communications, and change management tailored to Legal users.
- Provide clear visibility into roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Act as a strategic connector between Legal priorities and enterprise technology strategy.
- Foster strong relationships across Legal, Technology, and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in Technical Product Management or related experience.
- Experience supporting Legal, Legal Operations, Compliance, or Risk teams in large, complex organizations.
- Strong background in enterprise Legal IT systems (matter management, CLM, document management, eDiscovery, compliance platforms).
- Demonstrated experience owning product roadmaps and driving cross-functional delivery.
- Experience working in regulated environments with strong governance and security requirements.
- Familiarity with agile / SAFe delivery models.
- Exposure to enterprise integrations and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience with workflow platforms such as ServiceNow.
