The Senior Legal Strategy & Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in transforming Lennar’s Legal Department into a world‑class, efficient, and data‑driven organization. This role drives analytical assessments, operational improvements, and technology‑enabled enhancements that strengthen the department’s ability to deliver high‑quality legal services at scale. Working closely with the Head of Legal Operations, the Senior Analyst shapes strategic initiatives, builds implementation roadmaps, and executes improvements that increase clarity, speed, and value across the legal function – all while leveraging strong analytical capabilities, project management expertise, and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses using internal and external data and research to drive high‑impact, executive‑level decision‑making.

  • Build predictive models and translate insights into clear recommendations that advance the department’s evolution into a more data‑driven organization.

  • Develop high‑impact, executive‑ready presentations, dashboards, and written summaries that distill complex analyses into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership.

Operations & Process Optimization

  • Optimize resource allocation across matters, projects, and internal workflows by analyzing demand patterns, workload distribution, and capacity constraints.

  • Conduct analytical reviews of vendor performance, spend trends, and value delivery; identify strategic cost‑saving opportunities and propose operational improvements.

  • Lead budgeting and financial planning by developing insightful analyses, building forecasting scenarios, and generating recommendations that inform strategic legal department decisions.

Technology & Innovation

  • Drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise legal technology solutions that modernize core legal capabilities and improve data visibility.

  • Identify, design, and execute workflow‑level automation opportunities that streamline processes, reduce manual work, and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Partner with IT and Legal teams to define requirements, test new capabilities, and ensure smooth deployment and adoption of technology solutions.

Project Management

  • Drive cross‑functional initiatives with Legal, HR, Finance, and Lennar Technology Group to ensure coordinated execution and delivery of strategic objectives.

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.

  • Develop change management plans and communications for new processes and systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, business management, or a similar analytically rigorous role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical field.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues, perform rigorous analysis, and develop actionable insights.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with data analysis tools and languages such as Alteryx, SQL, or Python preferred.

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of working with autonomy.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
