The Recruiting Manager oversees all related initiatives to ensure the talent attraction, workforce planning, and talent acquisition programs are executed utilizing data analytics and measurements. This position will also oversee the execution of the strategy for full cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for Lennar as well as maintaining effective programs college engagement, DEI, and social branding. The person will report within the broader corporate Talent Acquisition Team, will manage a team of Recruiters, and will partner closely with Sr Leadership and other COE's within HR. This position is based in Miami, FL.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

Talent Acquisition

  • Optimizing the recruitment team structure and processes, growing the capabilities of the team, continuing to build a unique employment brand and an engaging candidate experience.
  • Develop a recruitment strategy designed to recruit top talent for Lennar and create a talent pipeline for future roles.
  • Leading and developing an effective team, driving high performance and employee engagement that will successfully build relationships with candidates and hiring managers while continuously raising the talent bar across the organization.
  • Fully integrate global systems with accurate and accessible data for reporting and analytics in the talent acquisition arena. Build and implement operational efficiencies and practices that drive strong performance across all recruitment related metrics, including Time to Fill, Quality of Hire, Cost Per Hire and Source Effectiveness, and report on these measures of success.
  • Embed global talent processes such as performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and career development so that the concepts and purpose are well understood and consistently implemented globally.
  • Further develop our Talent Communities, both internal and external, to ensure we continue to pipeline Future Skills for our business.
  • Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, select, hire, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.)

Workforce Planning

  • Utilizing business analytics, work with field leaders to forecast talent needs on a quarterly and yearly basis to allow the business to manage talent and talent acquisition to meet those needs and fill gaps.
  • Work with Talent Management to ensure that the talent pipeline is robust and ready to fill immediate needs and future demands.

Your Toolbox

  • 5-10 years of broad HR experience including talent management and performance management.
  • Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management.
  • Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports.
  • Experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
  • Experience in working with applicant tracking systems and affirmative action plan requirements.
  • Current SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or PHR, SPHR Preferred.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to design and implement full-cycle performance management programs.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
