Answers and addresses incoming customer service telephone calls and e-mails; takes detailed, legible and accurate notes to document the file. Responsible for processing miscellaneous administrative tasks and data entry for the customer service department, which may include service release of portfolio loans to various investors, monitor and act as a payment collector for small delinquent loan pipeline, processing phone payments, daily printing and mailing of letters and statements to borrowers, research and resolve customer and investor inquiries, and other tasks, as needed.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Provide excellent customer service on inbound and outbound mortgage inquiry calls and e-mails. 
  • Service release of portfolio loans to various investors
  • Responsible for performing the investor change in the loan servicing system for sold loans
  • Draft letters to borrowers to return checks or notices, when necessary. 
  • Submits credit updates to credit report agencies through third party vendor system.

Requirements

  • Mortgage, banking or title experience preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook preferred.
  • Pleasant and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to multitask and to complete tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
