A Quality Assurance Manager at Lennar is responsible for inspecting and evaluating the construction of Lennar homes to ensure compliance with quality standards and building codes. They play a critical role in managing construction quality and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of Lennar Customers. The goal is an exceptional customer experience through a Zero Defect Home at New Home Celebration.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Conduct thorough Quality Assurance inspections of homes, focusing on materials and workmanship.
Verify construction adheres to plans, specifications, building codes, and scopes of work.
Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-compliance issues.
Conduct New Home Celebration and Acceptance as scheduled.
Collaborate with construction teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
Evaluate work of trade partners and suppliers for compliance with quality standards.
Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including photos and reports.
Prepare inspection reports for communication to contractors and stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with community teams to convey inspection results.
Communicate with customers and Lennar associates to give updates, schedule walks/orientations, obtain signoffs, and attend meetings.
Participate in meetings to discuss quality-related matters and provide project progress input.
Stay informed on manufacturers' specifications and best practices for product installations.
Collaborate with project teams to develop solutions to quality-related challenges and ensure project progress.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus).
Relevant certification in construction codes preferred.
Previous experience in construction quality inspection or a related role is a plus.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes preferred.
Attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical fitness and willingness to work in outdoor and construction site environments.
Familiarity with construction management software (BuildPro & Salesforce) is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Forms, etc.)
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
