Program Summary: 

Lennar’s Technology Recent College Grad (RCG) Program is a 1-year, entry-level program beginning in June, in which associates engage in significant projects, leveraging next-gen technology to provide innovative solutions across the company, industry, and beyond. The program will facilitate participants’ development of essential interpersonal and technical skills and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar’s culture through onboarding (including a visit to a Lennar Community), hands-on training, and team building. Upon program completion, high-performing RCGs will have the opportunity to continue in their current role or another internal role within Technology. 

 

Responsibilities:   

  • Understand business needs and provide practical solutions to internal stakeholders, clients, and customers by conducting interviews to solicit requirements, performing data and document analysis, surveys, shadow sessions, and more. 

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users 

  • Research potential business opportunities and/or changes to meet business goals within budget 

  • Write project and system requirement specifications using language that is clear, concise, and encompassing for a diverse audience 

  • Participate in new technology upgrades and testing of system enhancements 

  • Assist in developing process maps and workflow diagrams 

 

Requirements: 

  • Graduating from a 4-year College or University between December 2024 and May 2025 

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or similar field 

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States 

  • Experience in project planning and management  

  • Experience compiling and analyzing metrics to identify trends and efficiencies 

  • Experience in financial reporting  

  • Experience connecting data or software through APIs  

  • Hunger to learn in a complex and fast-paced environment with a positive attitude, both as part of a team and individually 

  • Strong critical thinking skills and self-directed and innovative mindset 

  • Interest in solving complex problems and investing the time and energy to overcome roadblocks and learn from mistakes 

  • Ability to deliver value in an ambiguous environment, including various work assignments and changing priorities 

  • Ability to meaningfully contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of state-of-the-art technology applications 

  • Ability to build and sustain working relationships with both business and IT professionals while focusing on the needs of customers and consumers 

  • Completion of Lennar Technology Internship or other relevant technology internship with strong performance (preferred)

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements: 

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office.  Also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds.  Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator.  Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.  Standing is required for filing and copying.
