As the Lead QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in elevating our quality engineering practices by leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive QA strategy. You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing QA team, championing best practices in testing methodologies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • QA Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with product and engineering goals.

  • Tooling and Automation: Select and implement the right testing tools and frameworks to optimize test automation and efficiency. Evaluate, select, and implement test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, REST Assured, etc.) to maximize efficiency and test coverage.

  • Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers and leads, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

  • Metrics and Process: Define and track key QA metrics, create dashboards, and drive the optimization of defect management, test case traceability, and test data management processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with development teams and other stakeholders to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC.

  • Best Practices: Serve as a champion for testing methodologies, automation, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 9+ years in software QA, including 5+ years in a QA leadership role.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL, REST API testing, Postman, and a working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.

  • Testing Methodologies: Deep understanding of functional, non-functional, performance, and integration testing techniques.

  • MFT Background: Prior experience with Managed File Transfer technologies and integration testing is highly advantageous.

  • Automation Focus: Proven track record in building and scaling test automation frameworks and a thorough understanding of testing automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter).

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire QA teams.

  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
